I’m currently working with a leading digital agency that’s looking to bring a Senior SEO Executive into their growing SEO team.This is a great opportunity for an experienced SEO professional who enjoys taking ownership of campaigns and delivering meaningful results for a varied client base, including local, national and international brands.
This role would suit someone who is confident taking a strategic approach to SEO, enjoys working closely with clients, and thrives in a collaborative agency environment.
The Role:
You’ll bejoining a team of SEO specialists, playing a key role in planning, delivering and optimising SEO campaigns that genuinely move the needle for clients.
- Leading on on-page optimisation, technical SEO recommendations, performance reviews and link-building activity across a portfolio of SME clients
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular calls and occasional face-to-face meetings
- Conducting in-depth website audits and creating clear SEO strategies covering technical, content and off-page SEO
- Managing technical SEO tasks such as XML sitemaps, redirects and mobile optimisation, and working closely with development teams on recommendations
- Producing and presenting campaign reports with a strong focus on traffic, performance and lead generation
- Undertaking backlink audits and supporting or managing white-hat link-building campaigns
What they’re looking for:
- Around 2+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally within an agency environment
- Strong understanding of current SEO best practices and Google algorithm updates
- Confident using tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Analytics
- Experience working across different CMS platforms, including WordPress, Shopify and Magento
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to speak directly with clients
- Strong analytical mindset with great attention to detail
- Well organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with project management tools is a bonus
- B2B experience is preferred but not essential
